Do you provide therapy or counselling?
No. HER ARIS CIC is a non-clinical organisation and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, trauma processing, or mental health treatment.
Where specialist or statutory support is required, participants are responsibly signposted or referred through safeguarding-led pathways.
What does “trauma-aware” mean?
Trauma-aware means our programmes are delivered with an understanding that people may have experienced stress, adversity, or trauma. We aim to create safe, respectful, empowering, and non-judgemental environments while working within clear ethical boundaries.
What is the difference between Phase 1 and Phase 3 support?
Phase 1 focuses on:

HER ARIS does not deliver Phase 2 trauma processing or therapy.
What happens if someone needs specialist support?
HER ARIS CIC works within clearly defined non-clinical boundaries. Where additional or specialist support is needed, we work responsibly through safeguarding and referral pathways to help individuals access appropriate services.
Is safeguarding a priority at HER ARIS?
Yes. Safeguarding, participant wellbeing, and ethical practice are central to all programme delivery.
Are staff and volunteers DBS checked?
Yes. Relevant staff, facilitators, and volunteers are DBS checked and receive safeguarding training appropriate to their role.
